Six days, over 550 miles, 1 great cause! Please support us with donations and motivating comments to help us to achieve a major challenge and target!

Type 1 Diabetes changes lives forever. For someone living with it, adjustments to every day, every routine and every activity become necessary.

The team from Siemens IT/GSS are changing a day, or days, in their lives to raise money for JDRF - the charity dedicated to changing the lives of those with Type 1 Diabetes, until their work in finding a cure is complete.

Motivated by a personal story - Grace Aymes, a 9-year old diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes in 2012, a team of around 21 riders will cycle from Durham to Poole over 6 days, visiting Siemens sites on each day.

Ian Thompson and Ben Aymes will cycle the full route supported by 2 support drivers (Josh Johnson & Tom Beavis) and supported on each day by fundraisers and motivational company (we hope!!) who will cycle at least one leg of the journey, to assist JDRF on its journey.
